With OSHA’s final silica rule in effect, SGS Galson, the world leader in industrial hygiene analysis and monitoring solutions, is helping consultants understand, comply with and deliver timely, precise results to its clients. SGS Galson’s webinar, “Everything You Need to Know to Comply with the New Silica Rule” presents a comparison of the old standard versus the new one, details on the key components of the new rule, how to choose, then use the right equipment for monitoring, and interpreting results. No matter what aspect of silica monitoring you’re involved with, you are sure to learn new and beneficial information from this webinar.

Webinar presenter William (Bill) Walsh, CIH, is business development director for SGS Galson. Bill was vice-chair of the AIHA-LAP Analytical Accreditation Board when he testified on the technical requirements for lab accreditation needed for the proposed new silica standard to the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, DC. His testimony was specific to the portion of the proposed rule dealing with a lab’s abilities to meet the proposed reporting limits in the new rule for silica testing.
